We are honored to welcome three extraordinary Native women into key leadership positions at Indigenized Energy. Each of them brings a deep well of experience, cultural knowledge, and passion for service that will help carry our work to the next level.


Lorilee Morsette – Chief Operating Officer

An enrolled member of the Suquamish Tribe and Chippewa Cree, Lorilee was born and raised in Rocky Boy, Montana. She brings a unique combination of business acumen and cultural grounding to her role as Chief Operating Officer. With experience as a corporate officer for a financial firm in New York City, Lorilee is poised to lead our operations during this time of critical growth and expansion.

Mauricia Chavarria – Chief Financial Officer

Mauricia is a proud member of Santa Clara Pueblo (Kha’P’o Owingeh) and brings over 24 years of expertise in accounting, finance, utilities, and Tribal enterprise development. With degrees in finance and executive education from Harvard Business School, she’s deeply committed to building sustainable Indigenous economies and supporting the next generation through her mentorship with the American Indigenous Business Leaders (AIBL) program.






Serena Romero
Serena Romero

Serena Romero – Director of Marketing and Communications

A storyteller at heart and an Emmy Award-winning journalist, Serena is a member of the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians. Her work spans multiple industries, and her strategic approach to media and messaging will amplify our mission and help us tell the stories of energy sovereignty, community resilience, and cultural empowerment across Indian Country.








Celebrating Internal Promotions: Leadership From Within

In addition to these exciting new hires, we’re also celebrating two well-deserved promotions of talented team members who have already made a significant impact at Indigenized Energy.


Darla Dick – Director of Operations

Darla, a member of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, has been promoted to Director of Operations. Darla brings an unwavering commitment to Indigenous communities, ensuring that our day-to-day operations remain grounded in excellence, accountability, and cultural respect. Her background in operational strategy, workforce development, and team leadership reflects a longstanding dedication to systems that honor equity and cultural values.


Collins Provost – Chief of Staff

Collins, a member of the Cheyenne River Lakota Tribe, has been promoted to Chief of Staff. A mother, artist, and advocate for cultural preservation, Collins has led with heart and vision in her work supporting community wellness, food sovereignty, and traditional arts. Her leadership continues to reflect the values of empowerment and sustainability at the core of Indigenized Energy.


Shelby Keplin- Tribal Partnerships & Engagement Manager

Also playing a critical role in Indigenized Energy’s expansion is Shelby,a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, who serves as Tribal Partnerships & Engagement Manager. Shelby plays a vital role in building and nurturing strong, respectful relationships with Tribal Nations across the country. Her work ensures that every partnership is collaborative, culturally aligned, and rooted in long-term trust.


Donica Brady- Senior Solar Program Associate

We’re proud to recognize Donica Brady, an enrolled member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe, on her well-earned promotion to Senior Solar Program Associate. Donica began her journey with us after completing her first solar training program at Red Cloud Renewable. 

Since joining Indigenized Energy, Donica has brought passion, dedication, and cultural grounding to every aspect of her work. Donica now plays a key role in supporting Tribal Nations as they launch residential solar programs — helping to build a more sustainable and sovereign energy future across Indian Country.


A Future Led by Indigenous Voices

This new chapter for Indigenized Energy is about more than staffing — it’s about creating a leadership model rooted in Indigenous values, guided by women of vision, and focused on the future of our communities. As we continue to grow our work across Tribal Nations, these leaders will be at the forefront of building energy sovereignty from the ground up.

We’re proud, we’re energized, and we’re just getting started.
